TS REWARDS FAQ

If you believe you are having issues with TS Rewards content, please read this FAQ, which may answer your questions, before submitting a support ticket.

 

What was TS Rewards?

TS Rewards were a series of exclusive free bonus add-ons for those who purchased any of the TS2016 editions.

 

When did it start?

TS Rewards started at the launch of TS2016: Steam Edition in September 2015.

 

When does it end?

March 2016 (already ended).

 

How do I register?

The TS Rewards scheme has now ended and it is no longer possible to register.

 

How were the TS Rewards delivered?

Each month a steam key was emailed direct to those who were registered on the scheme. The player would then need to redeem their key on Steam to activate the reward.

 

How do I activate my TS Reward key?

What are the restrictions?

Only those who have purchased TS2016: Steam Edition, TS2016: Standard Edition or the individual TS2016 Single Route Editions will be able to redeem and use the free rewards as they rely upon the routes and locos which are only included with these versions of TS2016. Anyone who does not own the paid versions of TS2016 will not be able to use and will not qualify for TS Rewards.

  • Union Pacific SD60M (October 2015)
  • Double Chimney Castle Class (November 2015)
  • The Pump Car (December 2015)
  • GWR Early & Wartime Castles (January 2016)
  • US Military Flat Cars and Real World Scenario featuring the Flat Cars for Sherman Hill (February 2016)
  • PRESS BR 155 & UN Military Wagons (March 2016)
  • DB BR 155 Scenario for Cologne - Koblenz (March 2016)

 

I have missed all the TS Rewards, where can I get them?

All of the free TS Rewards add-ons are now part of the following versions of TS2016:

  •  TS2016: Steam Edition
  •  TS2016: Standard Edition
  •  TS2016: Riviera Line: Exeter to Kingswear (Single Route Edition)
  •  TS2016: West Rhine: Cologne - Koblenz (Single Route Edition)
  •  TS2016: Sherman Hill (Single Route Edition)

I seem to be missing the 'x' TS Reward, what do I do?

In the first instance, you should first check you have purchased the appropriate version of TS2016 by referencing the above information. If you are sure you are supposed to have this reward, please move to the next step.

In order to rule out any problems with the Steam Client and its file provisioning, you should complete a file verify. Instructions can be found here:  https://dovetailgames.kayako.com/Knowledgebase/Article/View/41/0/how-do-i- verify-my- game-files
This will reset your TS2016 installation to factory default and any related external modifications or third-party content will be removed (as appropriate). Note that this process may take several hours and you should allow sufficient time for it to complete, we highly recommend you do this overnight to avoid impacting your ability to use your pc.

In the ticket, please outline what version of Train Simulator you have, whether you have previously signed up to the rewards and what rewards you are missing.
